about Me

My name is Albert Loid and this is my blog

I started this blog as a means to change my life. Most people are stuck in the 9-5 grind, and while there’s nothing inherently wrong with that, I knew I wanted more out of life. I wanted to be in control of my own financial destiny, to have the freedom to work when and where I wanted, and to provide a bright future for my family.

I started this blog with the hope that it would be the key to unlocking all of those things and more. I’m not satisfied with my mere salary, I want to surpass that by leaps and bounds to create the future that I dreamed of.

Now, I’ve had my fair share of failures in the past. I’ve tried blogging, dropshipping, web design, and even ran YouTube ads, but they all flopped. I realized that I was too focused on the surface-level aesthetics, rather than the substance that truly matters.

But I didn’t let those failures hold me back. Instead, I used them as a learning opportunity and am more motivated than ever to make this work. I know that success requires hard work and dedication, but the payoff is worth it. So here’s to writing my own paycheck, taking vacations on my own terms, and living life on my own schedule.

1987 – Albert came to existence

Spring 1987 was the year I was born, in the cozy confines of Mercy Hospital in Iowa City, IA. As the only child of my parents, I had a childhood that was free of the cutthroat competition that so many kids face today.

Growing up in the 80s was a simpler time, and I cherished every moment of it. It taught me the importance of hard work, perseverance, and above all else, family. Those early lessons have stuck with me throughout my life, and have helped shape me into the man I am today.

So while I may have had a cushy childhood, I’ve never rested on my laurels. I know that success is something that is earned through hard work and determination. And with that mindset, there’s nothing I couldn’t accomplish.

The 90’s – The Childhood Years

I was lucky enough to grow up alongside my younger cousin Denny. We were inseparable, and might as well have been brothers. There was no one else I would rather spend my time with.

Our earliest memories together revolve around the classic Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles NES game. Those games were impossibly difficult, especially for two three-year-olds, but we were determined to conquer them. Gaming became a defining part of our lives for the next three decades, and I became a wildly competitive gamer.

I probably put in 20 black-belt-level mastery hours into gaming, but looking back, I can’t help but wonder what I could have accomplished if I had put that same level of effort into other pursuits. Don’t get me wrong, gaming was a lot of fun, but it’s important to channel our energy into endeavors that will bring us long-term success and fulfillment. Adolescent Albert just wasn’t there yet.

Ah, the teenage years. As an Asian American kid in high school, my priorities were all about girls (discreetly, of course), cars, and games. And let’s not forget about my brief but intense KPOP obsession!

Back then, the prevailing wisdom was that good grades were the key to securing a lucrative career in law or medicine. And while that advice may have been well-meaning, it didn’t necessarily resonate with everyone.

To be honest, my memory from those years is a bit hazy. But looking back, I realize that my life didn’t really start until college. That’s where I began to develop the skills and mindset that have served me so well in my entrepreneurial endeavors. So let’s fast forward to that point, and see what the future has in store.

2005 – 2016 – The College Years

You read that right, it took me a whopping 11 years to find my path.

I started my college career with pre-pharmacy, thinking it was the closest thing to being a doctor without actually being one. But intimidation and self-doubt held me back, and my lack of motivation ultimately led to my downfall.

I struggled to find my footing in college, starting with a dismal 0.6 GPA in my very first semester. I quickly realized that hard work wasn’t in my DNA yet, and I needed to find some motivation.

Things only got harder from there. My best friend dropped out, and I was floundering. But I refused to give up, and I convinced my friend to come with me and start fresh. Together, we took on the challenge of college, with all its distractions and temptations.

It took me five years of changing majors, schools, and cities, but I finally graduated from Iowa State University with a degree in Chemical Engineering.

But then, the financial crisis hit hard, and I struggled to find work. It was a difficult time, but I refused to let it break me. I took a part-time job as a lab assistant in a neuro lab, and through my work there, I built a valuable network in healthcare.

With their support, I decided to go back to pharmacy school. This time, I was motivated by the fear of failure rather than a passion for the field. But that was enough to carry me through, and I even found time to work part-time in a pharmacy to further my knowledge and skills.

2016 – “Doctor” Albert

With my license in hand and a doctorate in Pharmacy, I was ready to make my mark in the world.

But the reality of the business hit hard. As the years went by, the demands on me and my team only seemed to increase, while resources became more scarce. I never imagined that I would be in an industry where arguments would explode on an hourly basis, technicians would be reduced to tears, and patients would only receive a fraction of the care they truly needed. The more I gave, the more brutal the industry became.

Despite working at 110% capacity, it always felt like we were coming up short. But I refused to let that defeat me. I knew that success requires more than just hard work – it requires a willingness to take risks, to innovate, and to constantly challenge the status quo.

2019 – “Daddy” Albert

At a certain point, I found some peace in my personal life. I met an amazing woman and together, we had an extraordinary baby. Having them to come home to helped ease the frustrations of my job, and things were starting to look up.

But the more I looked around, the more I realized just how terrible my career situation truly was. While others were working half as much and achieving three times the success, I was stuck in a dead-end job with no clear path forward. As a pharmacist, I had never seen anyone receive a significant raise, and bonuses were practically non-existent.

It was then that I realized I was trapped in a box with a ceiling just inches above my head. But I refused to let that hold me back. I knew that with my pharmacy work ethic, I could achieve success in just about any field I chose.

And that’s when I decided to take the leap into entrepreneurship. It wasn’t easy, and there were plenty of obstacles along the way. But with hard work, dedication, and a willingness to take risks, I was able to break free from that box and achieve the kind of success I always knew was possible.

2023 – Internet Albert and where I am today

I knew I had to get out. I was tired of feeling trapped in a box, with a ceiling that seemed to be closing in on me more and more each day. From a young age, I had been taught that there was only one path to success – work hard, get good grades, and secure a steady job.

But I wanted more. I wanted to break free from that narrow-minded thinking and carve out a life that was truly my own. And so, I started waking up at 4am every day, working tirelessly on an online business that would allow me to remove that ceiling once and for all.

It’s been a thrilling journey so far, filled with ups and downs, successes and failures. But through it all, I’ve learned so much about the online business world, and I’m more excited than ever to build a career that will support the lifestyle I crave.

If you’re in a similar situation, I want you to know that it’s never too late to make a change. With hard work, dedication, and a willingness to take risks, anything is possible. And who knows? Maybe we can even work together one day.

Thanks for taking the time to read my story. I hope it inspires you to break free from your own box and reach for the stars.
